We are in the London Eye.

Great times together!

A smoggy day in London Town.

And if you laid the monument down, the end would be at Pudding Lane, where the fire started. Yes, I do look like a blue pudding, don't I!

Here is the London Monument, built by Christopher Wren after the Fire of London in 1666.

This gives you an idea of the scale, see all the tiny little people around the bottom?

311 steps! Why yes, I do look tired, don't I?

Damn her! Fresh as a daisy...

This is the representation of the flames at the top.

The view down the staircase.

Marks and Spencer's. We have ditched Jack and are playing with the hats.

I don't know why the size of my head entertains my family so much. I would like to point out that my head is a normal sized head. Other peoples heads, and I am not pointing fingers, just might be on the large size.

We are sitting outside the Gard du Nord train station, enjoying a last drink in Paris. Erin has a cider...

Jack has a cider, too...

I have spotted something...
Erin! Did you see that nice waiter? They were all very handsome in their suits and long white aprons. I enjoyed going to cafés. A lot.

In the catacombs under Paris. Not to everybody's taste, but interesting and thought provoking. This is where they stored the bones when the cemeteries needed to be emptied in the 1800's. Mottos about death abounded, and it was a reminder about how fleeting life is.
