We are in the London Eye.

Great times together!

A smoggy day in London Town.

And if you laid the monument down, the end would be at Pudding Lane, where the fire started. Yes, I do look like a blue pudding, don't I!

Here is the London Monument, built by Christopher Wren after the Fire of London in 1666.

This gives you an idea of the scale, see all the tiny little people around the bottom?

311 steps! Why yes, I do look tired, don't I?

Damn her! Fresh as a daisy...

This is the representation of the flames at the top.

The view down the staircase.

Marks and Spencer's. We have ditched Jack and are playing with the hats.

I don't know why the size of my head entertains my family so much. I would like to point out that my head is a normal sized head. Other peoples heads, and I am not pointing fingers, just might be on the large size.

We are sitting outside the Gard du Nord train station, enjoying a last drink in Paris. Erin has a cider...

Jack has a cider, too...

I have spotted something...
Erin! Did you see that nice waiter? They were all very handsome in their suits and long white aprons. I enjoyed going to cafés. A lot.

In the catacombs under Paris. Not to everybody's taste, but interesting and thought provoking. This is where they stored the bones when the cemeteries needed to be emptied in the 1800's. Mottos about death abounded, and it was a reminder about how fleeting life is.

Yay! The climax of our holiday. We made it!!!!!

Inside the Musee D'Orsay looking out. The museum used to be a railway station, and I am looking out through the station clock.

Outside the Musee D'Orsay. We are off the see a Van Gogh exhibition. Nothing to see here folks, move along...

Me standing beside the Seine.

And the famous Rose Window.

Erin behind Notre Dame. We are about to walk through the Tuilleries.

Look at those flying buttresses, truly beautiful.

Look at those gargoyles! Does anyone else remember 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame'? Esmeralda! Water, water! I still have nightmares.

No idea where I am, except I see gargoyles in the top photo, and the bottom photo is of the Louvre from the back, or possibly side. If you look closely through the middle arch, you can see the glass pyramid.

Erin and I outside St Michael, not too far from our hotel. Erin is imitating the statue, but I think it looks more like a dance, than killing an enemy.

Be careful! Another one of my dizzy making panoramic shots. Here is the view of Edinburgh City from the battlements of the Castle. I don't know why it spins without stopping. Sorry about that...

The ruins of a castle, cannot remember the name but will put it in later.

Here we are at the 'Rest and be Thankful' spot on our Highland day trip.. Cold, cold, cold! It snowed!

Erin and I were confused as to where the Duke of Argyll's castle was. It turns out it was behind us...

Erin in front of the Scottish Alps.

The Firth of Forth.
