Here you can see how they have taken the weight off the hull of the ship, and enclosed the lower half and turned it into a museum space. You access the top of the ship through a staircase. The second photo is of a collection of figureheads. The white one holding a horsetail is Nan, from Cutty Sark. She was a witch and was chasing a rider who was about to cross a bridge.
